Instructions:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the milk until it reaches near boiling. Make sure not to let it boil.
- Add the chocolate pieces to the heated milk and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Add the sugar and keep stirring until it completely dissolves.
- If you prefer extra flavor, add the liquid vanilla, cinnamon, and salt, and continue stirring until all ingredients are well blended.
- Continue heating for a few more minutes until the mixture reaches your desired serving temperature.
- Pour the hot chocolate into serving cups and serve immediately.
